EVOLVED-5G Common API Framework (CAPIF)

Duration

1 week

About this course

5G network applications can communicate with the 5G network core via CAPIF. This communication is crucial for driving the fourth industrial revolution and benefiting various technology and marketing sectors. In this course it is defined CAPIF and explores its architecture, emphasizing its role as a standardized API management framework developed by 3GPP for programmability in Service-Based Architecture. Moreover, this course also presents the implementation of CAPIF within the EVOLVED-5G project and how it facilitates interaction between third-party software and 5G networks.

What I will learn

Along the course you will learn:

  • To define CAPIF as specified by 3GPP and its underlying architecture.
  • To explore technical aspects of CAPIF by examining its implementation within the context of EVOLVED-5G project.
  • To understand how CAPIF facilitates the interaction between third-party software and 5G networks.
